Why register for a free CrossFit class on Bring a Friend Day?

We know you’re there. You’ve seen the posts about it and you’ve been thinking about it for a while. Your first CrossFit class can be nerve-racking. Just signing up for class can cause butterflies! We’re here to tell you that it’s alright and talk about how you’ll be able to enjoy your free CrossFit class on August 25th.

 

You don’t need to know a current member at LifeSpark to join us.

 

Yes, the day is officially called “Bring a Friend Day” and that’s because our current members talk about CrossFit to their friends on a regular basis. We want to give them a chance to see what all the fuss is about. You may be thinking “But I don’t know anyone at LifeSpark” and that’s okay! We know that you watch our page and you’re thinking about giving it a try. We’re here to tell you that you can! No matter what day it is we offer a free class to everyone who wants to try CrossFit for the first time. August 25th will be a special day because the LifeSpark Team will be dedicated to sitting down with the group, or with you as an individual, to answer any questions you have about CrossFit and our facility. No other classes, no distractions, just you getting your questions answered right then and there.

 

Anyone will be able to do the workout.

You probably see on social media that “CrossFit is for everyone” but maybe struggle to believe that. We don’t blame you! Watching professional CrossFit athletes compete or a video of some large muscle-bound person lifting heavy weights in class can seem daunting. That’s why we designed this workout specifically with you in mind. We’re taking out the complicated movements, the super heavy weights, and any crazy equipment you may be nervous about. All the movements for the workout will be simple and what you’ve probably done before in your regular gym. The main difference is that you’ll be in a gym with people doing the exact same thing as you and coaches by your side to guide you every step of the way.

 

You don’t HAVE to workout…but we encourage it!

If you join us to workout you’ll be under the coach’s instruction for the entire hour to truly experience the class. If that doesn’t sound like something you’re ready to try but you still want to see what our class is about you’re more than welcome to join us for our Q & A sessions. After both the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. classes we will have a Q & A session at reception for the group as well as coaches available to speak with you one on one. Feel free to stop by and ask as many questions as you like.

 

 

 

 

You aren’t obligated to sign up after class

Our process to get started in classes is simple. We explain it here on our blog. However, if for some reason you don’t feel the urge to sign-up with us right after class that’s okay. You are not obligated to sign-up for a membership when you join us on the 25th. Sometimes CrossFit isn’t for everyone and we get that. At least you’ll be able to say you tried and you’ll know for certain if it’s not for you!

 

 

 

 

 

What is “Bring a Friend Day” at LifeSpark all about?

CrossFit has gained such high popularity. You see images and videos of it everywhere and that can be intimidating. We want to ease that feeling on August 25th by opening our doors for you to stop by, join a class, and ask as many questions as you like no matter how silly or strange you may think they are.
